Founded in 2019, Fenix Film & Television has quickly established itself as one of the leading production companies of unscripted television in Alberta. With a vision to tell stories that matter, in 2023, Fenix released the ground-breaking CBC docu-series, PUSH. The show, which marked the first major-network series in Canada to feature a full leading cast of people with disabilities, has been celebrated for its ‘person first’ storytelling and unfiltered portrayal of life as a wheelchair user. The second season of PUSH is set to air on CBC and CBC Gem on January 14, 2024 at 7:30 PM and on the Accessible Media Inc. Network (AMI) on March 18, 2024. Fenix’s co-produced feature-length documentary, ONLY UP, which investigates the staggering gender inequality that persists in the fast-growing world of aviation, premieres on Super Channel in January 2024. In addition to its continued focus on premium factual and documentary content, Fenix has recently established a scripted division of the company with a focus on 1-hour drama.
