Stephanie Duckett | Associate Producer
Stephanie Duckett is an aspiring producer with a variety of industry experience to date including both production & post coordinating, production management training, clearances and business affairs. Since childhood, she grew a passion for film & music that eventually led her to completing a BA in Radio & Television Arts at Toronto Metropolitan University.
After returning to her Albertan roots, she followed up her undergrad with a diploma from MacEwan University in Arts & Cultural Management. Shortly after, she joined Edmonton-based production company, Mosaic Entertainment, under the mentorship of the company’s executive producers, Eric Rebalkin and Camille Beaudoin. Through Mosaic, she was able to become fully immersed in the full production cycle, learning the scope of producer functions, working on set as a department liaison and completing the deliveries of the final two seasons of the hit APTN sketch comedy series, Caution: May Contain Nuts.
After a temporary hiatus from the industry, she joined the second season of CBC’s PUSH, as the post-production and clearances coordinator, revitalizing her passion for the screen-based industry. Most recently, she was the production manager/coordinator for a new AMI series, The Crip Trip. Both of these productions have helped shape her view of storytelling through the eyes of people with disabilities and the gaps that exist within media accessibility and equality.
Her goal is to continue contributing to the growth of the film sector within Alberta and Canada, with a focus on creating dynamic content that celebrates diversity, elevates the voices of those who face barriers, and fosters conversations and actions that support positive change.
